Intro: How it all ended

321 Words
*Elena* I wish I could tell you about him. I feel the sunshine on my skin, and I breathe in the cold dawn air. All is so quiet and peaceful… I see nothing but trees, as far as my vision goes. A wild north forest, surrounded by the morning mist. It’s like the middle of nowhere, far away from the world. I put the thick blanket back around me, and the rocking chair creaks softly. Let’s not get cold today, my love. I grab the cup of warm tea and take a sip. You move around a bit. You already like the scent of lemons, don’t you? Just like me. I hope I can meet you soon. I hope you won’t mind having a mother like me. I hope you’ll forgive not having a father like him. *Nathaniel* Men are idiots. Men in love are worse. Why is it that I can’t forget her? I should throw those memories away, live my life like always. No lingering feelings, no attachments. Isn’t it how it was supposed to be anyway? I don’t want to love her. I don’t want to miss her. Yet here I am, like an i***t, shutting everyone that is not her out. I don’t want her lies, I don’t want to be taken for a fool again. So why do I want to see her so bad? I miss her scent, I miss the soft way she smiles. I’m unconsciously looking for her everywhere I go, thinking about her every second that passes. I want to see her. I don’t care about the lies, I don’t care about what’s real or not. I just want all of her. Just one more chance. ...I’m going crazy.
