Blade's POV She was late, I found myself anticipating, eager for her to walk in through the door. We agreed on meeting by seven in the morning. I looked at the clock, my jaw clenching, it was two minutes past seven now. My fingers drummed against the armrest, once, then twice and almost three times but I forced them to stay still. Finally, I heard the soft knock and my gaze shifted to the clock. It was seven minutes past seven. "Come in." I said pretending to bury myself in work immediately, like I hadn't been waiting the whole time for her to come. Like my attention hadn’t been fixed on that damn door since dawn. The door opened and I lifted my gaze slightly, not too eager, not too desperate, just normal. She had that same ‘I'm just gonna do my work and run along’ look from yesterday,
