First things first.
After I recorded my dear husband getting a blow job from his side piece, I saved it, sent it to myself in an encrypted email, and then sent it to my lawyer, Shannon.
It wasn't long before she called back, furious, and ready to leave the office, wanting to burn down his office for me.
"No need. We'll do as you said. Get him in court. I trust you'll leave him with nothing."
"Damn right! How dare he?"
She was angry.
Angrier than me.
Actually... I was done being angry.
I needed to think clearly, no emotions or anger involved.
"Look, let's just continue with our plans for the night. Let's meet up with the girls. I need to forget everything that is happening now, and get drunk!" I said as I began to walk out of his office.
The receptionists in his office were returning. One, giving me a side look, the other one scuffed, rolling her eyes. Both are holding a hot cup of coffee.
"Good ridence." She says flipping her hair.
"I'm all for it. We haven't hung out in so long. I need a girls' night." Shannon added, making my lips tug into a smile.
"Hold on one second will you, darling?" I said as I placed my phone in my pocket.
I turned my body, lifting my foot, making one fall, and dragging the other down with her.
I snickered, enjoying the view as I saw them fall one on top of the other. The coffee spills on them as they yell in horror.
"What was that?" Shannon asked, hearing them yelling.
"What the hell? You... crazy b***h!"
"Oops... sorry, didn't see you there!" I said as I chuckled.
"You... country bumpkin!" The other one said.
"I'll kill you!"
"Oh pipe down. It was an accident."
"Accudent my ass. You did that deliberately." She says, making me chuckle.
"Did I? Well then... Take it up with my lawyer. I'm sure you can afford to go against Shannon McCarthy... right?" I said making their eyes widen.
It was no surprise that my bestie Shannon was not to be messed with.
She was one of the fiercest lawyers ever known in our region.
"Bull s**t. You don't even know her." The other receptionist says.
"Do I?" I said as I pressed the FaceTime button, making Shannon's face appear on my screen.
Their faces paled, making me feel smug.
"Not so bad for a country girl, right?" I said as Shannon chuckled.
"You're such a baddie!" Shannon added, making me throw my head back as I chuckled, walking out of that office.
The satisfaction of hearing them grunt angrily is blissful, amusing.
"Alright, alright... I'll meet you at Maddie's, I need a hair trim and a new change of clothes for tonight. Hurry up and write that document and make sure you also end my investment contract with his company. " I said as I walked toward my car, starting up the engine and reversing.
"I want every penny returned to me, with interest. He breached our contract long ago, and I let it slide because of our marriage. Now that I'm divorcing him, there's no need to continue our collaboration with him. I'll have Eleanor reach out to you for further information." I said as I pulled out of that driveway and sped off toward my salon.
"Got it, boss. I'll have my team add up the numbers. Calvin is going to get hit, and he won't even see it coming." She says, making my smile widen.
"Damn right. He wanted to mess with the lioness, then he'd better get ready for the retaliation. I'm coming for him and his b***h, and this time, I will not have mercy on them." I said as I hung up the phone and sped off.
I made a few phone calls, scheduled a mover's company for this weekend to come by and get my stuff, and ordered my housekeeper to make a full detailed list of all the stuff I personally bought for that house.
Then I made sure she threw all my outdated clothes away or gave them to charity.
"You are all to stand by for my order, got it? Besides my personal stuff and the items listed for the movers, I don't want it. Leave nothing behind other than his clothes. Make sure you throw away all of Calvin's gifts. If you or the other maids want them, go ahead and keep them. You guys can have everything in the kitchen, distribute the furniture, and decorations. It's all going to the trash if you don't want them anyway." I have her further details, making sure she and the house workers got to work the moment Calvin signed those divorce papers.
"Yes, madame. U will let the staff know. But... are you sure Mister Calvin will not be angry?"
"I don't care if he gets mad. He hasn't bought a single fork or spoon for use in that house. Everything, down to the last crumbs, jas been bought by me, and that includes everyone's paycheck. So do as I say, and I will make sure none of you are left without a job. You have all been wonderful to me, I will not let you down." I said, feeling satisfied as I heard her breathe of relief.
"Thank you, madame. I can assure you that we will continue to serve you diligently and honorably as we have up to now." She says, making me smile.
"Eleanor, I trust you with my life. You are a kind servant. Make sure you give the movers the address to my villa in the southern suburbs, which will be our new residence. Have every worker relocate there as soon as possible." I said as I looked at myself in the mirror, as Maddie, the owner of the prestigious salon, trimmed my hair.
She rarely showed her face in the salon since she had a wonderful staff to do the work for her. But she loved attending to me personally, and I was grateful for her care.
"Yes, ma'am. I will let everyone know to start packing their things first and meet you there tonight."
"Good, the password is the same as the villa in grandpa's estate," I said, making her chuckle.
"Got it," She responded before hanging up.
"Moving already? I thought you liked living in the center of the city?" Maddie asked, as she combed my hair.
"I do, but, I think I need a quieter and secluded area. Don't worry, I will still remain your loyal customer." I said, looking at her through the mirror and smiling.
"Good! Because if I find my favorite customer trades me for another stylist I will have no choice but to sabotage that new salon to bring you back!" She says jokingly, making me chuckle.
