As expected, we were instantly forced out of Steve’s room, practically kicked out, due to the numerous protests we made. Sam was the last to leave, taking a couple of extra minutes, exploiting his large body to bend the will of the doctor on duty. Fortunately, our tantrums didn’t cause any major problems and we were allowed to return the next day, only agreeing to Steve’s parents’ staying in the hospital, in case anything new came up.
The coach was the first to go, his wife had called him, needing help controlling their children. I was surprised to see the blush on his face as he excused himself.
