Chapter Thirty-Three The wait time for a taxi was almost two hours, so Emily took the airtrain to the subway, and then the E train to the city. The crowd on the subway buzzed with panicked speculation; nobody knew what the upcoming announcement would be about, but almost everyone thought it had to do with a major terrorist threat.
