Chapter SixCornell woke up, the sun wasn't up yet but he was recharged already. He sat up quietly and stared out the window. Could Zozo really be out there, none of this was his style. It didn't make sense. There was a whole lot of nothing around here and if he was teleporting a great distance, well, he could be anywhere.
There was no point in trying to track him. All he could do now was investigate the case in his own way. Cornell sighed and stood up, walked to his clothes and got dressed. He looked towards Jenny, and could see her there, still on the desk out like a light. She didn't need to be awake for this and he picked up his mirror, stepped inside the bathroom and shut the door. “Coroner's tent,” he whispered. His mirror lit up with bright red electric sparks, then he was gone.
