Charlie Rose had found herself back where she desperately never wanted to be again. She was alone, on an earth burned to a crisp. It was charred and dead. There was no sign of the sky around her because the smoke in the air was still so thick and black. As terrified as she was, her stomach constricting violently, she looked down again.
