There were only two more journal entries in James Winterfell’s journal after the one talking about the portal. And unfortunately, neither of those entries mentioned the portal again.
Charlie and Kire had come to a dead end.
“Great,” Kire said as they walked out of the library together. “We’re no closer to finding the portal than we were before we got here.”
“But at least we learned something,” Charlie said, trying to stay positive even though she didn’t quite feel that way inside.
