“We are,” Big Guns replied. “See you there.” Ace had us turn onto another blacktop road, this one circling around the back of the estate. He reported that our enemy had just walked into the main house, a huge mansion we could discern across the fields. I pictured Diep's punk a*s strolling into the rich home with an I Got Away grin. I took a calming breath. We found the dirt road entrance, killed the headlights, turning into the rutted field. The stables were a quarter mile directly in front of us, a large, black rectangular metal roof glowing faint lunar white. We parked behind it, got out and gently shut the doors. The grass was tall and saturated, whipping against our legs in the gusting post-storm breeze. We relied on Ace's infrared surveillance to warn us of anyone in the vicinity. H
