Chapter SevenLord Harleston was dressing and at the same time instructing one of Mr. Altman’s servants how to pack his clothes. He was missing Portman more than he liked to admit and he thought that, when he reached New York, he would try to find an English valet to replace him. Certainly the American who was helping him now was of little or no use.
