Chapter 18Morning woke Jesse in a blaze of bright sunlight. It filtered through the small hotel room window with an intensity he'd almost forgotten during his years in the mountains. Home. He hoped Addie would like it there. He had a feeling it would be their last address. Rising, he washed at the basin and dressed in a more formal outfit than his usual jeans and plaid shirt.
