Hyakuhei hissed as his control slipped a little further, allowing one of his demons to break its bonds within the cave. He fell to his knees hating how weak he had become to allow such an emotion to break his will.
Knowing Toya had touched her and was now confronting Tama was slowly killing him inside. Hyakuhei wondered if the power he would gain from her contact with the guardians was worth the pain. His willpower to stay away from her wouldn’t last forever… the most powerful of demons that he had harbored within him since coming to this world wouldn’t allow it.
‘Tama,’ Hyakuhei whispered harshly, ‘Back away from Kyoko. The demon that has broken free will try to kill anyone touching her.’
Fear entered Tama’s eyes as he linked back with Kyoko. ‘I don’t want him here.’ He let go of his
