Brother`s Best Friend Mate

Chapter Eighteen

         After Tony and I finish talking we put our clothes on for the day and meet our friends downstairs in the living room. As my uncles and aunties are waiting for me Auntie Candy says,''Reme, you're just the person I'm looking for. We need to practice on your magic. Have you been studying your books we gave you''? ''Yes ma'am,'' I answer her. 

     Tommy interjects saying, ''pardon self Auntie Candy can yall wait for a minute I need to make sure no pack members enter the house''. Thru a mind link he says, ''ATTENTION PACK MEMBERS STAY OUT OF THE PACK HOUSE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE''! ''Yes Beta,'' all pack members respond. ''Great, now that's done Reme use your ice powers to make the room cold,'' Auntie Bella says. ''NOW, in front of everyone,'' I surprisingly ask? ''Yes, I need them to see how you use your powers and what to expect. They need to know what will happen while they're around you so they know how to react,'' Auntie Bella says. So I close my eyes meditating in deep thought. The next thing I know the room starts to get cold. 

        My mother yells, ''colder REME,''! I follow her instructions; making the room get even more frigid. Auntie Candy says, ''more colder...colder Reme''! When I open my eyes I look in the mirror on the wall and see my reflection. The color of my eyes are light blue and my hair is white as some fresh pure cocaine white air force ones. It's so cold in the pack house that everyone is holding on to each other in their attempts to stay warm looking at me in amazement. Auntie Bella says, ''Zack go to Reme and see if you can calm her down''. He tries to walk over to me but due to the coldness of the room; it's hard. 

        Zack struggles to get to me like Sylvester Stallone as Rocky training in Siberia but through his perseverance he finally reaches me. He puts his arms around me and tries to warm me but instead of cooling me down I begin to set his arms aflame turning the room from an igloo to a massage and spa sauna. My brother lets me go from the extreme heat looking at me in bewilderment. ''What the f**k! Wow, Rem your hair is ruby red and your eyes are golden yellow,'' he says! Auntie Candy says, ''Okay, Tommy your turn; try to calm her down''! Tommy approaches me, holding me and then the pack house starts to shake. 

       My hair changes to peridot green while my eyes switches to jet black. Mother says, ''Kimmy and Maryann go put your arms around her...quickly''! When they grab me; my powers summon me to make the wind blow so ferociously hard and tornadoesque that it has my hair blowing all over the place. My eyes change to the color of aquamarine. 

       With a forceful wind so daunting everyone has to hold onto something or be blown all over the room as if there's no gravity. I control all elements now even gravity. ''Alright...Zack, Maryann, Kimmy and Tommy go grab Reme now; at once! Okay, now Reme, conjure all of them simultaneously. Everyone you better hold on something. The turbulence of her power may be too overwhelming for you all, says Auntie Bella. When I do this my physical being begins to levitate in the air losing control of self.  With all of these hair transformations I feel like Lil' Kim at a video shoot with various wigs. 

      My hair is like a Mardi Gras' lightshow festival; changing to red, green, white, light blue and my eyes are purple. ''Alpha Tony we need you to calm Reme down. She's losing control of your attributes,'' says Auntie Candy! Tony walks in my direction but he has such a hard time reaching me considering all of the chaos around us. My Auntie Candy creating a protective force field which helps him to reach me without being harmed. 

      As he gets close to me he pulls me in his arm, kissing me on the forehead and miraculously everything goes back to normal. ''That was great baby,'' my father says! ''Thanks daddy but I've got a far way to go in my training,'' I say. Tone parents come in the room with their coats on. Former Alpha Damon asks, ''let me guess... Reme right''? ''Yes, it's me I'm sorry Alpha Damon,'' reluctantly I answer. ''No apologies my dear; it's okay young goddess.

       This' is all of what will make you a great Luna for our pack. We all have to master self so never be sorry for that for you are our future; you and Antonio,'' reassures Alpha Damon. ''We know you have to do it but I think it's time to tell the pack,'' my father says. ''No not yet daddy please,'' I say to my father. ''We overstand Reme but the sooner they know; the faster you can do your complete training program,'' my Old Earth suggests. Luna Linda interjects, ''plus baby yall will be starting school soon. You all been out long enough. Yall need your education. 

      What do you think Sun? You're the Alpha now; so talk it over with your Beta and Delta. Let us know if you want to or not''. ''I not ready for the pack to know,'' I angrily say; storming  out of the pack house front door. Everyone says, ''Reme come back please...come back Rem!. I don't stop running with Tony hot on my trail. I shift into Asia which allows me to run faster and faster until Blaze knocks me down. When he collides with me; we shift back into humans. 

       I use my mental telepathy to put our clothes on. Once gathering our thoughts, ''Baby what's wrong,'' Tone asks? ''I'm afraid, so afraid that they'll turn on me and won't except me as their Luna or your mate. They may look at me different and be a afraid of me. I'm not ready Tone for them to know. Can we please wait a little while longer please,'' I plead to Tone. By this time tears are streaming down my face. 

       Tony embraces me passionately to his chest. Within Tony's warm and soothing arms I cry more. After crying he kisses me on the forehead; looks me in the eyes and says to me, ''Okay Love we'll wait until you're ready''. ''You mean it Tone? We'll wait until I'm ready to tell the pack? Thank you Tone; I love you so much,'' I say. Tony says, ''I love you too baby. I'll do anything for you baby as long as you are safe and happy. Come on, lets get back to the pack house before everyone becomes worried about us. Everyone is mind linking me. They want to know if we're safe and have I found you yet''. Now safe and consoled I feel confident and at ease to face the pack and go back home.
