Eight hours later and I looked like someone who stepped into a hornet’s nest. The welts were red and full of pus. Although, it was painful, we now had bombs that might take down a few super-soldiers. No matter how pretty the sun looked dipping behind the horizon, another concern picked at my gut. How would we identify the super ones from a regular human? They could look like anyone on the street, blending into the crowd. It was going to be tough dividing the humans from the unhuman. Unless they wore a stamp across their forehead, we were going to have to take our chances. That meant we were going to have to be alert of every person out in the open and even those lurking in the shadows. I raked in a fretful sigh.
