Alpha Richard entered the dining room with Beta William and William's daughter Bree. James and all the other pack members greeted the high-ranking wolves with a bow, but Den's curious eyes landed on Bree. She turned out to be the only woman in the Silver River Pack who was not a captive, unlike the other battered women held there. She was tall and beautiful, obviously a trained warrior, yet he found something unusual in her.
