The Forbidding Forest
I decided to give Lafitte a raincheck. Too much trouble at the pub tonight for me to leave it in the hands of Toots. So, I snuck off, leaving my manager to handle the issues. I’d deal with Lafitte’s temper tantrum later when I returned.
I killed my lights and engine off of my Harley when I caught sight of the majestic castle. To avoid alerting Hernando, I cloaked myself invisible and swiftly parked my bike at the entrance, behind a large oak, hidden. The iron gate was like a fortress, but thanks to my super abilities, I could clear the gate with little effort.
