Chapter Five The meat was surprisingly good. Tres had ventured into the forest and found a few side items to go with our main dish of marsupial. On the plates were boiled kale and fresh blackberries. He’d not only gone into the forest, I saw he’d gone back down to the beach as well. The meat was garnished with seaweed, which worked great as a salt substitute. He’d even set the table.
