Violet shook her head. "In some cases, grandparents, other relatives or godparents will take in an orphan or a widowed mother and child, but most of the time people expect the husband to provide for the family and the woman to tend the home and children."
Leontios shook his head. "I think that it will take more than one night to understand these different views. What we must determine is how this will affect the ritual. I feel that you are trying to distract yourself from something important you must address, and I think I can guess. In a society where s****l relations mean something very different, it bothers you to use them for this utilitarian purpose. Is that correct?"
