3 With our duties done, I went with the other squires to put my swords up. A few other squires I didn't know very well came to the door and called to Yuric and Maurice, inviting them to lunch. It didn't surprise me that I'd fallen in with the guys. I'd never been the type to have girlfriends. Likely because women found me intimidating. But I could always pal around with the boys.
