“So how does this thing work? Are all my body parts going to be in the same place after you zap us? What does this button do?” Cara asked, pointing to one of the buttons on the console. One of the warriors standing beside her covered the button quickly with his hand, looking at her nervously.
Undeterred, she moved to the other side of the console and pointed to another button. “Why is that one flashing? Man, I’d love to take this puppy apart and see what makes it tick,” Cara said to another one of the warriors standing behind the console in the transporter room.
