When I'm not collecting herbs, brewing potions, or helping around the house, I spend most of my time in the small library. Shane found two books that are all about witches, and I recently finished the first one. It only took me two days. I had greedily read the whole book from cover to cover. All the information is so interesting. Part of me feels angry with my mother for not informing me of anything besides herbs, but then I remind myself that she could have not known these things to teach me.
Now, I'm helping shuck corn outside for dinner with Tanya. She's chattering, and I try my best to pay attention to what she's saying, but my mind is upstairs with the books I haven't gotten to read yet.
