It was five minutes too early when Peytra arrived in this finery, and she had to endure an awkward introduction to the Baron and Baroness of Pjerrin, and the Count of Martinny through their attendants. These nobles themselves seemed quite jovial and friendly, which was a relief. The Baron and Baroness were a particularly engaging couple, both with darker hair and eyes and roughly the same height. The Baron had the distinct mannerism of pausing right before he laughed with a booming bravado. The Baroness of Pjerrin was slightly more reserved, but also extremely sarcastic, which Peytra couldn’t help but enjoy.
