This has been a crazy day with that absolute asshole Alpha that dad had to kick out and then his Beta and other ranked people called to inform us about their plans and get a blessing from dad and the Council to move forward. They got it, of course, but seriously that is some special kind of crazy s**t.
Selena has just been so poised and composed about it all, and I wonder if she is not even the slightest angry or anything when the exact emotion travels down the bond. I look over, and she looks as serene as always. The rage is kept inside, so she can keep a cool and calm front. I got to admire to be honest. When I shut up, subtitles come onto my face. Always have been that way. There's never hiding any emotion in me.
