Approximately forty minutes after leaving Police Headquarters, the convoy of cars carrying Ross and his team separated as Ross and Gable, and Church and McLennan turned right onto Carr Moss Lane, while the other two cars turned left on the approach to South port and Ainsdale Golf Club, where they would park to await developments.
Ross and Gable, in the lead car, took it slowly as they passed some of the most upmarket homes Sam Gable had seen in a long time.
