As soon as they were out of earshot, Tarkyn said, “Thank you Stormaway. I hope you didn’t mind being used as an exhibit. But I noticed the woodfolk’s interest in you two the other day and I thought it might help to break down the barrier.”
“For a specific reason such as that, you are welcome.”
Tarkyn gave a short laugh, “Point taken.” He glanced sideways at the wizard, “I don’t want to go back there, you know.”
Stormaway patted him on the back, “No. I could imagine you wouldn’t want to, at the moment.”
“Do you think you could go back and fetch Danton, Harkell, String and Bean and meet me out here somewhere? Make it clear that the others are still under orders to stay in the clearing. I think I’ve had about enough of woodfolk for the time being. I could do with a good dose of normal
