31 Very early the next morning, Danton crept out of the firesite, unknowingly disturbing nearly all the woodfolk as he passed. Even Harkell heard him pass and, being a habitual early riser, decided to follow him to see what he was up to. As soon as they were out of earshot of the sleeping woodfolk, Danton turned around and said, “Come on. You might as well catch up and talk to me, if you’re going to follow me.
