Chapter Five Isle of the Giants: Koorgan groaned as he stiffly pushed off the ground. The first glimpses of dawn were beginning to break over the forest. He stretched the kink out of his back and rubbed a hand over his hip. There had been an uneven spot on the stone that had made sleeping difficult so he had given up on trying a couple of hours ago. His stomach took that moment to rumble, reminding him – again – that he hadn’t eaten since yesterday morning. He was tired, hungry, and frustrated that Gant hadn’t found him yet.
