My heart broke when the doctor told us the news of Alexa's miscarriage, I looked on as Nick and Alexa both looked shocked by the news. None of us knew she was pregnant, what with everything that had been happening with the battle, Nick's tumour and Alexa training and learning about her powers. Alexa was destroyed with the loss of her baby and just lay there motionless, staring off into space, as the doctor continued to talk to us. Suddenly Alexa ripped out the I.V and ran outside, begging Nick to reject her, he just knelt there and not saying a word, he was in so much shock at what she had just said.
