Jonathan had been furious as he turned the mules around to head back to the ranch house. He couldn’t believe that Indy had said she wouldn’t marry him if he was the last man on earth! Then why the hell was she on his ranch?
It wouldn’t have been the first time one desperate mother or father had thought to try to trap him or Jacob into marriage by throwing their daughter at them.
