Calissa’s POV
Peter seemed to have heard us approaching and turned to greet us. He was back to his normal smiling self. He changed from intimidating, back to happy and kind in an instant. His easy-going grin grew bigger when he saw me, his dimple showing on his cheek. I couldn’t stop myself from grinning back at him. Very few people have defended me in my life. That list is very short. My grandfather, uncle Ronan, my cousin Varon, and now Peter. See, that is a very small list. I am going to add my cousin Asherah to that list. She loves me and is always encouraging me. She also stepped up to show her defense of me last night.
