Marcus and Jilly walked to his study. Jilly knew not to get excited because it was not going to be about the work that she loved so much. Somehow, Jilly felt like trouble from home had arrived.
"What is it?" Jilly asked as they were in his study. Marcus walked up to the mahogany desk and grabbed something off the desk. Jilly saw papers and printed pictures on top of them. She could see through the thin papers.
"Come take a look," Marcus said, gesturing for her to come closer. Then, he handed her the papers.
Jilly took them but didn't look at them right away. She looked at Marcus for a few more seconds before she took a look at the pictures.
