##Chapter 26 The Anchor

There was silence in the room. Nathan then walked to the bathroom.

Listening to the water running, Sharon couldn't calm down.

She didn't know whether to ask him or not.

"Let it go. He will tell me if he wants to," she thought.

When she thought, Nathan walked out. He glanced at Sharon, who closed her eyes tightly. Nathan knew clearly that she was awake.

"Anything you want to ask me. You'll get sick if you keep it all in your heart."

He leaned against the headboard and reached out to fondle her face.

Sharon hesitated a moment with her fingers clutching the quilt tightly, and then she decided to ask her question.

Nathan looked at her curiously.

"You arranged it for me? Do you work in the human resources department?"

Sharon asked and looked around. The office was clean and had a perfect view.

Nathan hinted at Glenn, and the latter walked to Sharon.

He said, "No, I don't. I'm the secretary of the president. Come to me if you need anything."

Sharon was shocked by his words. The secretary of the president was in a high position. Why would he help Nathan?
