“You are sick to the bones, Dane. How could you do that?”
I tried to get up and run away from the study, but my knees did not let me do as I pleased. I was left with no choice as I stared at Dane, giving my all to communicate my hatred for the last words he said.
No matter what, those actions wouldn’t be justified by his ‘love’, not even by the past we shared. Even the fact that I did the same when we were young was just a stupid comparison. Dane should have known better that I wouldn’t fall for the petty tricks of bringing back my foolishness.
