After kissing Alaric goodnight, I switch some of the lights off, leaving the room with just the right amount of light. I exit his room, leaving the door ajar, and walk back to my room. My stomach grumbles, causing me to place my hand on it by reflex, realizing I haven’t had anything much to eat today. But I’m not taking the risk of bumping into Lucah.
Luna went straight to bed when she came back from work. She hasn’t been herself since that whole incident with Evan yesterday. Lucah, on the other hand, I haven’t seen. I made sure to avoid him this morning.
