The last thing I needed to deal with right now was vampires. I got to Brave River early this morning, and took a crew to look for any other signs of the bloodsuckers on the property.
Thankfully, there were no physical signs of them still in the territory, but they left behind several bodies they had fed off of. They appeared to be humans, and I told Caleb we needed to get them out of the territory as quickly as possible.
I hate to be crass about this, but the last thing we needed to do was get wrapped up in a murder case involving humans. "Caleb, have some warriors get suited up and dispose of them on human grounds. There can't be any traces of wolf DNA on them. The bite marks on the necks and wrists are going to cause the authorities enough problems,"I told him.
