Oceana's mother, Nerida, hurried to her side as she slumped back onto the bed, her body wracked with pain. She held Oceana in her arms, her eyes filled with terror. "Help! Call the medic!" she said, her voice quivering, as Oceanus burst into the room, his eyes widening as he took in the situation. "What's going on?" he questioned, his voice filled with terror.
"I don't know," Nerida said, her voice breaking. "She's burning up. Call the medic right now!" He dashed off to seek assistance, as Nerida embraced her daughter, feeling the heat emanating from her. "What are you feeling, Oceana?" she asked with urgency in her voice.
