Violet was about to refuse, but Clara grabbed her hand. "He is right. Let her accompany you."
Violet saw her eyes indicating that she should agree. Clara was afraid that Daniel would plot against her just like he had plotted against Leo years ago.
Later, when everyone left the pack house, Violet told Fraser to wait downstairs. She went back to her bedroom and picked up all the files from her bed. She put them in one of the nightstand drawers.
Going to the closet, she pulled out a white dress with a white corset.
She put on the dress and let her hair down. She applied light makeup and wore nude lipstick.
Her white heels clicked on the stairs as she descended.
