Karina’s heart races as she rushes over to Chloe, shock etched across her face at the sight of her in such a state, and Chloe, attempting to crawl on the floor, mumbles incoherent words, her distress palpable.
“I would never hurt you. Please don’t choose that heartless person over me,” she pleads, her words strained and filled with desperation, and Karina, not catching her words, kneels beside her, eyes wide with concern, realizing Chloe must be having a meltdown over her father's death.
Luke, the driver, who hurried over upon seeing Chloe’s fall, stands nearby, his gaze locked on the distressing scene and he and Karina share a glance before Karina attempts to call out to Chloe but stops as Chloe speaks again.
