Louis searched every corner of the room, looking for Savana.

Apparently Savana had just finished showering and was surprised to see Louis in her room.
"What are you doing, get out sir. You have made me look like a cheap woman today." Savana kept Louis quiet since he left his daughter's room earlier. That man was truly too much.
"I came here to apologize to you, Savana. Sorry, I was presumptuous and seemed to underestimate you..."
“You really underestimate me, Mr. Louis Snowden!” Savana's sarcasm interrupted Louis's sentence with teary eyes. It had been a long time since he cried, as mother and father to Mercy, forcing Savana to be as strong as a rock.
"Sorry..." Louis said in a low tone, before closing the door to Savana's room.
Savana sat on the side of the bed, the woman was crying uncontrollably. She wants to be the whiny Savana she was three years ago. While her husband was still around, she was tired of being hard on herself. In fact, she was still a helpless woman, with a fragile heart.
Louis was still standing in front of Savana's bedroom door, the man wiped the wet corners of his eyes. He regretted what he did to Savana earlier. He just got carried away, and yes, Savana was able to make him comfortable. The woman gave him some answers to all his nightmares.
But for now, it was enough for him to keep it to himself. It would be too dangerous if Savana knew everything. Their lives will be in danger every second.
Louis walked slowly towards the sofa in front of the small television that Mercy was watching.
"Honey? What are you watching, hmm?" Louis sat down and picked up the little girl and kissed the top of her head. His tears fell without permission, Louis hurriedly wiped them away.
"Is mom not ready yet?" All he knew was that Louis said he would follow his mother so he could hurry.
"Mother is getting ready, wait a little longer." Louis answered while focusing on Mercy's oval face. Picture perfect, absolutely like the duplicate. Several times Louis stole kisses on Mercy's cheek.
"Uncle, you make me ticklish," Mercy laughed amusedly, due to the thin hairs on Louis's face. The man just smiled in response to the chatter.
Savana looked at the two of them from behind, her heart still filled with curiosity. Because of Louis's ambiguous words. But the man didn't want to explain anything to her, apart from harassing her.
"Khmmm..." Savana's throat caught the attention of the two people who were busy watching.
Louis was amazed to see Savana's appearance, a knee-length canary yellow floral patterned dress. But it looked so sexy in Louis's eyes.
"Don't you have any better clothes?" Louis snorted.
"What's wrong with my clothes?" Savana's protest was not accepted. Louis seemed to be insulting his clothes, even though they weren't expensive clothes, they were still very suitable for use. Savana felt offended.
"Tsk! Let's get ready." Louis didn't want to prolong the argument, but finally decided to give in. Even though his heart is a little hot. What's wrong with that woman? Why do you have to look that beautiful just to go to the beach? Louis sighed repeatedly in annoyance.
Imagining the many eyes staring hungrily at Savana, his heart was already burning. What if he really saw it, maybe he would immediately become hot.
After traveling for almost 1 hour, they arrived at the beach.
"She sleeps?" Louis was suddenly behind Savana, surprising the woman.
"Yes,"
"Here, I'll carry you," Louis grabbed Mercy's body without waiting for Savana's answer. The three of them walked to the hotel, to rest for a while before playing on the beach.
Savana was amazed to see that her room directly faced the beach, with beautiful sea views. You can even see it just from bed, without having to go to the balcony.
"Do you like it?" Louis's question made Savana feel embarrassed, as if she had been caught stealing. Then he turned his gaze towards his daughter who was fast asleep on the bed.
"You haven't answered me, Ana?" Louis demanded impatiently.
"Stop calling me that, sir. That was my late husband's special nickname. Other people are not allowed to use it," was a reply that Louis didn't expect, but the man pulled the corner of his lips lightly.
"Loyal woman," Louis muttered almost inaudibly.
"Okay, I'm sorry. Now tell me, do you like this room?" Louis repeated sitting next to Mercy.
"I like it, the view is nice." Savana said honestly. "The beach view in my city is no less beautiful and interesting, you should go there sometimes." Savana continues to show off her hometown with pride.
"Certain!" Louis answered firmly, "I want to take a shower first, I haven't showered since I came home." Louis walked towards the bathroom, but before that the man took off his shirt and jeans in front of Savana. Making Savana's cheeks heat up with embarrassment.
"Can't you just open it inside?" Savana went to the balcony, her face red and hot. You pervert thought he was upset.
Louis just smiled faintly, he did it on purpose. He wanted Savana to see parts of his body and realize a little that there were parts that might remind him of someone.
After taking off his clothes and wearing only boxers, Louis rushed to the bathroom.
Savana looked at the beach view from the balcony, she remembered her late husband. They used to really like places like this, which is why they chose to live in the city of Carmel which is located on the Monterey peninsula, California.
Savana's reverie was interrupted by a strong hand encircling her stomach.
"Why do you always hug me as you please, sir?" Savana turned around, looking straight at the man who reminded her of someone.
Savana's hand reached out to touch Louis's temple, the man closed his eyes. Enjoying the touch of the woman he missed so much.
"Why do you always act as if we are very close?" Savana asked again by changing the direction of her question.
Louis opened his eyes, then looked deeply at the woman in front of him.
"I just feel like we used to be very close. Have you forgotten that I have amnesia? Maybe you know more about things than me, so I want to start by getting closer and getting to know you better." Louis smoothed Savana's brown hair which was blowing in the wind.
"Do you mind? Are there other men close to you now?" Louis's heart was beating fast waiting for Savana's answer.
Savana seemed to be considering his answer, Louis became impatient.
"Tell me Savana..." Louis demanded, impatient.
"It can't be said to be close, it's just that some men approach me in different ways. Some approach me through Mercy, some approach me directly. It's just that" Savana finished her sentence while glancing at her daughter's bed.
"I don't want to give Mercy a stepfather. For me, my husband will always live in my and Mercy's hearts forever. He is irreplaceable," Mercy smiled thinly, almost imperceptibly. His heart was beating fast. Mercy's words were what he was most looking forward to. David Barnes is irreplaceable, he is sure of that.
"Then what about me? Mercy seems to really like me?" Louis teased while looking at Savana mischievously.
"He just misses his Uncle William in Catalina, don't get too confident, sir." Savana snorted then turned to look at the beach.
Louis chuckled, then hugged Savana again without any resistance from the woman. Maybe Savana also felt comfortable in Louis's warm embrace. Can Louis expect more now?
