Jennifer walked slowly through the darkness. A week in a mansion like a palace meant Jennifer had an understanding of the whole house's location. The complex and multi-room building of the house cost Jennifer a lot of time. But also get a lot of advantages.

Jennifer walked out of the main house to a simple house in the corner next to the main house. The house is for workers. Such as gardeners, drivers, and bodyguards. Max is there.

Arriving at the second page which separates the main house and the simple house. Several men were seen playing cards. Max was there too. How could Max be sitting there happily playing cards. Where's Janeth?

A bad thought flashed through Jennifer's mind. The thought of Janeth being killed too made Jennifer feel worried and anxious. Even though Jennifer is angry and disappointed with Janeth. Jennifer's love as a sister made it impossible for her to hold a grudge for too long. Jennifer missed Janeth.

"You lost again. Not fun playing with you guys. I want to go first," said Max as he got up.

Jennifer immediately pressed herself against the wall. Jennifer took a few steps back, but it was too late to hide or avoid Max.

"You? Why are you here?" Max asked.

"I'm lost. This house is too big for me." Jennifer's reasoning sounded absurd. But that was all Jennifer could think of.

"You need help, beautiful." Max was about to stroke Jennifer's face.

"Don't touch it. I'll tell you," Jennifer said.

Max immediately laughed at Jennifer's words.

"Okay, I won't touch you. But why are you scared when you meet me?" Max asked.

"No. I'm not afraid of you. I'm just disgusted," Jennifer began to venture.

"What?" Max was surprised.

"Yeah. Seeing you with Cloe. Made me understand one thing, you're a disgusting man," Jennifer said.

Max was furious. He came closer and pressed Jennifer's cheeks. Max's eyes immediately reddened. He stared intently into Jennifer's eyes.

"Let go," Jennifer said trying to push Max away. But Max's hands are very solid.

Max tried to bring his face closer. He wanted to kiss Jennifer. But with courage for fear of being touched Jennifer kicked Max in the stomach and punched him in the face.

"You?" Max is in pain. He looked more and more angry. But Jennifer immediately left and ran into the house.

Max chased from behind. He managed to grab Jennifer's hand. In one hit Jennifer has been caught by Max.

"Where are you running, beautiful?" One of Max's hands lifted Jennifer's dress from below. While the other hand held Jennifer's head. In one fell swoop Max managed to kiss Jennifer.

For a moment the kiss made Jennifer remember the past. Which made Jennifer unhesitatingly bite Max's lips hard. Max immediately screamed in pain and released Jennifer. The opportunity was not wasted. Jennifer smacked Max in the face with one hard smack. Then Jennifer kicked the sensitive spot under Max's stomach until the man Jennifer hated the most groaned in pain.

Jennifer immediately ran into the house. Behind the door, Jennifer took a deep breath. After calming down, she immediately went to the bathroom to wash her face and checked the dress she was wearing. Jennifer looked in the mirror angrily. Max's attitude turned out to be more rogue than Jennifer had ever imagined.

"Jennie, are you in there?" Alex's voice woke Jennie up.

Jennifer came out of the bathroom. Alex immediately hugged Jennifer warmly.

"What's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?" Jennifer asked.

"No. I woke up and immediately panicked to see you weren't beside me," said Alex.

"Who will kidnap me? Do you think I will run away from this house?" Jennifer asked.

"I don't know. The more I feel you are mine, the more I'm afraid of losing you, Jennie." Alex pulled Jennifer so that she fell on the bed. Then Alex approached Jennifer.

The two of them stared at each other. "Do you still consider being my wife a job?" asked Alex.

Jennifer nodded.

"Then. Isn't the duty of a wife also your duty that you must do?" asked Alex again.

Jennifer nodded back. Alex smiled.

"Then. Tonight I ask you to serve me to my satisfaction. Isn't that also the duty of a wife?"

Jennifer was about to refuse but Alex put his finger on Jennifer's lips.

"I can't take it anymore. My desire is at its peak. Don't you feel sorry for this handsome man who has been imprisoned too often to reduce his desire as a man? You were my wife when Jennifer. Many women wanted me but only you I chose to be mine, " Alex whispered then started to get under Jennifer's neck.

Jennifer, who was actually still afraid of starting a more serious relationship, couldn't put up a fight. Alex is too charming. Alex knows how to conquer women. Alex's treatment was very gentle and made Jennifer feel comfortable. Until that night the two of them merged in pleasure.

The morning when Jennifer woke up to find Alex still hugging her. The man was very asleep. Alex's handsome face radiates like an innocent baby.

"You're so handsome," Jennifer said.

"Is that true?

Jennifer was surprised. Turns out Alex was awake. Alex pulled Jennifer's head and kissed her forehead.

"You're also very beautiful," said Alex, making Jennifer's face turn red. Then Alex hugged Jennifer again.

"Aren't you going to wake up?" Jennifer asked.

"I want to be like this a little longer. Happiness like this I rarely feel. I feel like I feel peace in the midst of hellfire," said Alex.

Jennifer returned Alex's hug.

"I'm afraid of falling in love. I'm afraid of being betrayed," Jennifer said.

"I would never do that, Jennie. So far I've never fallen in love with any woman, other than you," said Alex while gently rubbing Jennie's head.

Jennifer was silent, she was still confused about her own feelings. Even so, Jennifer had to admit that she felt calm and happy to be around Alex.

"Was there no development today with your novel case?" Jennifer asked.

"I'm lazy Jennie. I don't want to talk about work," Alex covered his face with the blanket.

"What? Don't be like that. We have to find out the truth. We have to find Jennifer's sister too. What if that crook kills Jennifer's twin?" Jennie asked as she pulled Alex's blanket.

"Come on Jennie, I just wanted to make out with you today. How about we enjoy one more game. You're so cute. I feel like eating you again. Seeing you still naked like that, my desire is rising again." Alex sulked.

"No," said Jennifer, about to get up from the bed, but Alex pulled her back.

"Come on, honey. You always make me sleepless every night. Cure me one more time."

"No," Jennifer said, laughing because Alex licked behind Jennifer's ear. The two of them wrestled under the covers again. Meanwhile outside their room Max was standing hearing the laughter and sighs of both of them holding back their anger.

"Mr. Jack. Have a seat first. We will make tea," said Maria.

"No need. Give me this invitation," Max placed the invitation on the table. Then left with a face full of anger.
