Run Away

That night Jennifer woke up in the middle of the night. She felt her throat was very dry. Therefore, Jennifer immediately went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. She walked slowly, her eyes drowsy. But before she reached the kitchen, she heard the sound of someone talking to someone else.

"Are you sure?"

Jennifer sharpened her ears. The voice was very familiar.

"Yes. Keep it a secret from the girl. I don't want Jennie to know the truth."

It was Jim's voice. But what are they talking about and mentioning Jennifer's name?

"We have to take advantage of Jennifer's innocence. To have her on our side without the slightest hesitation," said Jims.

Jennifer was surprised. She peeked a little and saw Jims, Thomas and one other person. Maybe it was Justin. Their faces were blurred, because the lights in the room were turned off. The three of them relied solely on the light from the fireplace. Every now and then Thomas threw wood into the fireplace.

"Jennifer is an innocent girl. We have to take advantage of that," Jims said again.

Hearing that Jennifer felt she had been taken advantage of by Jims, Thomas and the others. She backed away and returned to the room. Jennifer thought about everything Jims said and thought about everything since she woke up and been in this house. It seemed they were all using Jennifer for their own ends, not for her.

'They're all liars,' Jennifer thought. She had to run away from the house. Jennifer must find a way out and escape without being caught. She should not be careless, because the people she is dealing with are very intelligent and calculating.

Jims' house is very secluded. He built a house in the middle of the forest. There were no neighbors or anyone there. One might not even believe it if Jennifer said there was a house there. As if the house was deliberately built there as a hideout and their headquarters.

Jennifer will look for opportunities to escape while she is out of the house or doing training. Incidentally tomorrow morning she will go shopping. That would be a good chance to escape. But isn't Jims Steven's best friend?

Jennifer bit her lip. She was really confused. If Jims were Steven's best friend, there's no way they'd mean anything bad to him. But what if everyone in this house only uses the identity of Steven's best friend, to advance or achieve their goals?

Just as Jennifer was thinking all this, the sound of a car engine below could be heard. Jennifer immediately peeked in the window. There were three people busy loading something into the car. "They really are criminals," Jennifer said to herself. In her heart Jennifer was increasingly convinced to run away from them all.

When Jennifer checked the schedule. Tomorrow is the time to go to the clothing store. Thomas plans to invite Jennifer to buy everything she needs. It seemed that he could use it to escape.

That night Jennifer could not sleep. Until morning comes. She immediately took a shower and prepared everything. Just as she was done getting dressed, Thomas had come to take Jennifer for breakfast.

"I'll be down soon," Jennifer said to Thomas to go first.

Jennifer immediately took out a small purse containing her new ID card. Her face had already changed. Even though she had to run away, she had to keep using her new identity.

Jennifer immediately came down. As usual Jims and Thomas were waiting. The two of them had been munching on toast covered in jam. Jennifer acted as usual as if nothing had happened. Don't let them get suspicious and take action before Jennifer manages to escape.

"Today are you guys going shopping?" asked Jim.

"That's right. Poor Jennie who only has a few clothes. She's a woman, so we have to pay attention to her comfort," said Thomas.

"Right. I agree. Don't hesitate Jennifer. Buy something you want," said Jims.

"Okay. Thanks. Don't cry if your money is running low," Jennifer replied making Jims and Thomas laugh.

After breakfast is over. Thomas and Jennifer immediately got into the car. From the moment she stepped out of the gate, Jennifer had noticed the road and remembered everything. If the opportunity arises, she will report to the local police. If the two thugs had tricked him.

"Why are you silent? Is there a problem?" asked Thomas.

"Nothing. I was just wondering. How can a person live in the middle of the forest without a neighbor around them."

Hearing Jennifer's words, of course Thomas immediately laughed. Thomas used to think the same thing. But finally Thomas could understand why Jims lived in the middle of the woods.

The car continued to drive towards the shopping center. Jennifer is increasingly determined to find an opportunity and runs away from Jims and Thomas. She had to do it before they used him to become a serial killer like them. Jennifer believes the secret service is just an excuse. Their identities are actually serial killers. Jennifer had to run away and report everything to the police. But she has no evidence. So for now Jennifer can only run away.
