Alex didn't come to the media company's office. He lied to Jennifer. Actually he went to see Thomas. He wanted to find out the truth about Jenny. Because, for the first time Alex felt familiar with a woman he had just met.
So far, Alex has never been close to women. His heart was locked only on Steven's son Jennifer. Alex's attitude has been very cold towards everyone. Especially in women. He kept his distance and never got along. But for Jennie, it feels different. Alex seemed to have known him and felt familiar.
"What are you doing here?" asked Thomas.
Alex is surprised to see Jims' house turned into an armory. It seemed that this time they were truly ready for battle.
"I just want to ask one thing. I beg you to answer honestly," said Alex. "Or if you are bound by an oath. If what I say is true. You just shut up. Don't answer. But if it's wrong say no," said Alex. He knew a soldier would never break an oath especially when it came to someone's safety.
"Okay. Just say it." Thomas waited.
"Is Jennie Cole Steven's son Jennifer?" asked Alex.
Thomas was surprised, but he couldn't lie. Thomas was silent in response. Several people suddenly appeared from another room. They seemed to be the agents gathered at Thomas' house.
"You'd better go home. Take care of Jennie and never leave. Your house is like a terrorist nest rather than being called a house. Your father's wealth will be targeted to get additional funds from them. Because we have killed people who have guaranteed their finances so far," said Thomas.
Alex suddenly remembered Martha. He also remembers Max and Cloe. He suspected the three of them as terrorists.
"Why don't you guys catch them?" asked Alex.
"They now have social status. One as Hamilton's wife and the other as the mayor's daughter-in-law. We need strong evidence if we want to arrest them in public. Especially with accusations of being terrorists," said Thomas.
So far Alex is used to catching criminals, but rarely deals with terrorists. He has to learn a lot from international secret agents who do have the best qualifications in dealing with international criminals.
Alex thinks international secret agents don't need evidence to catch suspected terrorists. It turns out that they also find it difficult to arrest someone without evidence, especially when dealing with important people.
"The principle is the same. We must not be careless. We can kill them without being caught, but it will become a public issue and also become a terror in society. It is impossible for us to kill all three of them at the same time. The police will be prosecuted to find the killer." Michael who happened to be in the house gave an explanation.
"What if the killer isn't found. Aren't you guys good at that?" asked Alex. Again.
"True. But it's still the police who will be bothered. They will continue to investigate. Time is wasted, energy and energy and even the budget is wasted on something useless. You don't want that to happen," said Michael.
"But, isn't that better. Instead of letting the terrorists live," said Alex Again.
"In fact, we kill someone after getting permission to kill. If we kill without a letter from our superiors. It is tantamount to murder," Michael said again.
"Maybe the rules look weak. But there really aren't any rules that can suit all circumstances. If we weren't bound by those rules. Maybe we would often kill arbitrarily. It could be civilians who will be victims."
Alex is now more aware of the rules directly from the perpetrators. Actually Alex already knows all the rules of a secret agent. He just wanted to add to the understanding of some people who already had more experience than he did.
"Have you found the terrorist base yet?" asked Alex.
"No. We didn't find the main headquarters. But we found their branch. That way we will be closer to the center," said another.
Alex helped set up the weapons. As a secret police agent, he has a good ability to quickly assemble weapons. Even Alex had received an award for his ability to assemble weapons in a fast time.
"You're really fast," said Thomas. "Jims didn't misjudge you. He told me you could take care of Jennie."
"Thank you," said Alex.
"I'm going home. Let me know if anything happens or finds something." Alex gave him his cell phone number. Then he immediately left.
Alex got home and went straight to his room. He saw Jennifer fast asleep. Alex wanted to cry out loud. The person he's been looking for turns out to be someone nearby and in front of him. No wonder, Jennie's character and attitude are exactly the same as Jennifer's. Turns out they were the same person.
"Thank goodness you're still alive," Alex muttered through tears streaming down his face. He held Jennie's hand gently, kissing it gently.
"I am very happy that you have become my wife. Maybe you think this marriage is just a contract, but for me you are my wife," said Alex. Slowly he climbed onto the bed and slept beside Jennie. Lucky Jenny slept very soundly. Even though Alex hugged Jennie didn't wake up.
"Thanks for keeping you alive," said Alex.
That night Alex was very happy. He continued to stare and hug Jennie. He acted as if he was afraid the next day when he woke up Jennie was no longer by his side.
"Thank you Jennie. You're even more beautiful and talkative now. I was fooled. I wanted to hit Thomas, but his hands were magical hands. Those hands that made you like this. Your new face is your shield from that criminal." Alex hugged and kissed Jennie's forehead. He really loves Jenny.
Alex remembers that Max is the one who killed Jennifer. That person is in this house now. And Jennie still dared to live with the person who killed her. Jennifer's heart and soul is very strong.
"You are very brave and strong," said Alex again. He never stopped to always say thank you.
"Thank you, honey. You're still alive," Alex said again. He hugged Jennie and put Jennie's head on his arm so that Alex could see Jennie's face closer.
"You are more beautiful now. Despite how you look you are still beautiful in my eyes." Alex continued to speak. He expresses his longing in such a way. Because if Jennifer woke up later, Alex wouldn't be able to do it.
"Thank you Jennie. You are a strong girl. Thank you for surviving and staying alive. And thank you for accepting me to be your husband," said Alex until he slowly fell asleep.
