“Turn off the lights,” Nina whispered hoarsely, her fingertips touching Loyd's lips, which were almost open.
Loyd obeyed, turning off the bright light, but instead the nightlight came on, illuminating the room. The atmosphere in the room changed to dim. A smile appeared on Nina's lips as Loyd stared at her without looking away.
