9 Gabriela, One Hour Later It was the second time that day I opened my eyes and Jorik was there. I blinked, just to be sure. He smiled at me, that handsome face focused completely on me. I took in those chocolate colored eyes, the dark hair, even the stubble on his square jaw. He looked even more rugged than ever. Even more perfect. “Mate,” he whispered. “How do you feel?” I turned my head, remembered I was in the fancy pod thingy.
