Chapter 9Shinbe’s trench coat fluttered out around him in the updraft, as he landed on the roof of the Wal-Mart building. He had felt the newly awakened power of the crystal’s talisman and the locator spell he’d just performed had led him to this location.
The guardian closed his amethyst eyes when he sensed the seductive aura of not one but two talismans within the walls below him. A frown settled on his face as he became aware of the number of souls surrounding the two sacred pieces of crystal… so many humans and a good deal of them children. That was a problem since the whole building was now crawling with evil entities.
