Chapter Seven
Trisha looked on in stony silence as Kelan ordered the men to prepare the transporter for the next group to beam down to the planet. She had seen only brief glimpses of him over the past two weeks during the travel from Earth to Valdier. She didn’t understand how they could have traveled such great distances. She got vague impressions from Bio about the symbiots and crystals bending and displacing space at intervals. She would need a lot longer to completely understand what it was trying to show her. Trisha spent most of the time alone trying to figure out how to get back home and how to get a certain irritating alien out of her mind.
