"Don't believe everything you see, kid," Toya's clawed hand swept the clearing. "It was all Hyakuhei's lie." His golden eyes held Suki's in silent meaning. "And we are still a group, no matter what. Damn it!"
Suki caught the hidden meaning, and looked around the clearing, noticing one of the images missing. "I don't understand," her voice showed her confusion.
Kamui walked around Toya to the maiden statue asking, "Is Shinbe there with Kyoko?"
Toya was still facing Suki as he answered, "Yeah." Taking quick strides to Suki, he leaned into her ear, hoping Kamui wasn't paying attention, and filled her in on what he and Kyou had discovered.
