CHAPTER TWENTY ONE It was just shy of midnight when Avery parked on the street opposite the Boston Public Library, hardly believing where she was—that there could actually be a body in the center of Boston. There were only two other cars on the scene so far, which made Avery think Connelly was trying to keep this new body as quiet as possible. When she and Ramirez got out of the car, it was not the library that interested them, but the little stretch of land on the other side of the street.
