Chapter 3 Mom's Been Kidnapped

Aurelia's voice wasn't loud, but it instantly drew everyone's attention. With a respectful look, Domingo complied immediately and walked away from Leon and Isabella, carrying the suitcases straight towards Aurelia. Leon and Isabella were dumbfounded. How did Aurelia know Domingo? "You know Mr. Lianes?" Isabella hissed through gritted teeth. "I see! You must have seduced him, you slut! You'll spread your legs for any man, won't you? You're shameless!" She turned to Domingo and added, "Mr. Lianes, don't be fooled by her innocent looks. She's a w***e who's slept with countless men!" Domingo was speechless. Did this i***t know who she was talking about? Probably not. If she did, she'd be groveling right now. Ignoring Isabella completely, Aurelia strode away, leaving the airport with Jasper. This was the proper way to deal with the unreasonable because arguing with them would only be a waste of time. Outside the airport, her best friend Susan Soler was waiting. The two friends hadn't seen each other in ages and hugged each other tightly. "Most women look older and tired after having kids, but not you. You've become even more gorgeous!" Susan teased. "Share your skincare secrets, now!" "I'll give you a set when we get home," Aurelia promised generously. "I'm holding you to that!" After catching up, Aurelia looked around, puzzled. Domingo hadn't come out yet. She turned back to see him being blocked by Leon's men. Leon had brought several bodyguards, clearly prepared to use force if Domingo didn't cooperate. Aurelia's eyes darkened. Handing Jasper to Susan, she said, "Watch him for me. I'll be right back." Flexing her wrists, she headed back to the airport entrance. She didn't want to cause a scene right after returning, but Leon deserved a good beating for what he had done to her. Just as Aurelia was about to make her move, the doors swung open again. A swarm of bodyguards in black suits rushed in, surrounding Aurelia and Domingo. Aurelia frowned. This wasn't Leon's style. The sound of steady footsteps echoed through the airport. The bodyguards parted to reveal a tall man dressed in a black suit. He was incredibly handsome, with perfect outlines like a masterful painting, each stroke deliberate and flawless. His deep blue eyes were enough to intimidate anyone with just one glance. Upon seeing him, Leon turned pale. "Mr. Chesterfield?!" He trembled, barely able to speak. "Wh... why are you here?" Chandler Chesterfield didn't spare Leon a glance. His icy gaze landed on Domingo. His stare seemed to be as oppressive as an upcoming thunderstorm, so intense that even the usually composed Domingo felt a wave of nervousness. "Take him!" Chandler ordered coolly. The bodyguards swarmed, pinning Domingo down. "What are you doing?" Aurelia leaped forward, blocking their way. "Kidnapping in broad daylight? How dare you! I'll call the police!" Chandler finally looked at her. He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming. Sensing the tense atmosphere, Aurelia almost felt suffocating. "Don't come any closer!" Aurelia pulled out her phone, trying to be threatening. "I'm serious. I'll call the police!" Chandler chuckled mockingly. His blue eyes stayed locked on hers. "Okay. Go ahead." "What's the matter? Afraid?" Chandler took another step, snatching the phone from her hand. "I'll make the call for you!" He dialed the police and made the call without hesitation, his arrogance on full display! Aurelia took a deep breath, knowing the police couldn't do anything to this man even if they arrived. She sighed, giving in, "No need. I know you're after Dr. Jotherin. Let him go, and I'll take you to her." Everyone was stunned, especially Leon and Isabella. "Don't be ridiculous. How could you possibly know where Dr. Jotherin is?" Isabella scoffed. "You just want to get close to Mr. Chesterfield, don't you? You manipulative witch!" She then continued, "Mr. Chesterfield, don't trust her. She's a compulsive liar. Just like her mother, she's caused nothing but trouble." Isabella widened her pretty eyes and put on a pure and innocent look, attempting to appeal to Chandler. However, her flattery made him glance at her sharply. "Get lost!" Chandler roared, and his icy stare sent Isabella scurrying to the side. He hated deceitful and hypocritical women the most. In contrast, he found Aurelia's straightforward defiance refreshing, even if it was problematic. Chandler turned his gaze back to Aurelia, his tone imperial. "Take them both!"
