I put the empty containers back into the basket and asked Jace, “What now?”

“Thunder wants to meet Star. Do you want to let her out to run?” Jace asked.

“Yeah, Star wants to meet the big wolf, as she keeps saying.” I giggled.

“Oh goddess, that’s going to give him an ego! But I did notice your wolf is small. Why?” he asked.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I haven't even asked anyone, to be honest. Plus, Star is shy and timid, which I know is unusual, even for an omega,” I replied.
